Best Soundtrack Award: the 19th Glocal Film Festival gets underway again!!

A few days before the start, the Glocal Film Festival had to suspend the 19th edition, scheduled from March 12th to 16th at the Cinema Massimo in Turin.
But after the long months of lockdown here we are ready to start again with our collaboration: also this year the Machiavelli Music Award will be given to the Best Short Film Soundtrack!

From July 15th to August 4th, the festival will start again and will be the first among the city festivals to be presented to the public, in an exceptional summer version: films in competition and special screenings will be part of the calendars of film arenas, places of culture but also of creativity and youth protagonism that in these weeks are coming back to propose events and initiatives. Every year Spazio Piemonte intercepts creative trends and future professionals, technical experimentation and expressive needs of the prolific production of short films in this region.

Machiavelli Music enthusiastically embraces the spirit of the festival and, also through this award, pursues one of its main objectives: to invest in young people and music professionals, through the constant search for new talent on the national territory, promoting the creativity of young Italian artists abroad. As shown by the 20 finalists in the competition, the short film can be the first step in the world of cinema or a great productive effort that aims at international festivals, an effective format to represent characters, places and situations or the most immediate tool to tell the story.

Music plays a decisive role in the success of video projects, and specifically also of short films: this Award also exists to remind us of the need and the value it adds to each creative project.
