"CREO": the second artistic residence is in progress at the Centro Artemista
27 Jan 2020
It is Bija’s group time, a trio composed by Gabriele di Franco, Marco Puzzello and Francesco Pellizzari, who are currently in creative residence at the Centro Artemista Recording Studio. This is the second of the six residencies awarded within CREO, the project dedicated to the creation of young Italian musical talents within the initiative #PerChiCrea, dedicated to young musicians looking for opportunities and promoted by Machiavelli Music Publishing and Associazione Culturale Artemista, supported by SIAE and MiBACT.
The selected artists are welcomed for a 14-day creative residency period at the Artemista Cultural Centre in Spessa (PV) and are supported by a scholarship. The space of the residency offers the ideal environment for musical creation and the time, during the creative stay, will be dedicated to: creation, training, production
Federica Furlani, the young musician who concluded her creative journey at the Artemista farmhouse a few days ago, says: "What an incredible place, isn't it? And I became even more aware of the magic of Artemista's space-time as soon as I set foot again in Milan after my 14 days of residence! Valuable is the adjective that most of all befits this occasion that was given to me through the CREO call for proposals promoted by Associazione Culturale Artemista and Machiavelli Music Publishing with the support of SIAE e MiBACT...not to mention how precious Elisa and Mauro have been in welcoming me in these days!".
The tutors, experienced music professionals, offer support on creative solutions, arrangement choices, performance practices, to strengthen the musical identity of each project.
