Our selection of Verdi's music for "Cùntami", winner of Nastri d’Argento Special Prize!

Three opera airs, Brindisi, Addio dal passato and Pace, pace mio Dio, all composed by Giuseppe Verdi, and licensed by Machiavelli Music, are the soundtrack of “Cùntami”, the road movie directed by Giovanna Taviani.
The documentary is a journey in search of new oral storytellers to tell about "another Sicily”, the one that awakens through the universal power of popular stories.

"Cùntami" was shortlisted for the Nastri d'Argento and awarded the Special Prize of the Nastri DOC 2022!

Produced by Amedeo Bacigalupo and Angelica Canevari for Cloud 9 the film was made in collaboration with Rai Cinema.
After its success in the "Notti veneziane" section of Venice Days, the film will soon be released in cinemas.
