"Hey moon!" is an evocative song by Molly Nilsson, providing the soundtrack for the short film "I miei occhi" directed by Tommaso Acquarone and producted by Redibis Film.
Starring Ksenia Rappoport and João Farinha, this short film is vying for a potential nomination at the 2023 Oscars.
The song "Hey moon!" by Molly Nilsson, edited for Italy by Machiavelli Music, adds unique emotional depth to one of the main scenes of the short film.
The film earned the prestigious Best Film award at the In The Palace International Short Film Festival in Sofia, paving the way for consideration at the 2023 Academy Awards.
In November 2022, it was presented in Los Angeles to Academy members and the American press, with crucial support from the Genova Liguria Film Commission and Liguria - Regional Agency for Tourism Promotion.
"My eyes" was filmed in Genoa in 2019, thanks to contributions from the POR FESR Liguria and collaboration with the Genova Liguria Film Commission.
The plot follows a 45-years old woman who, while driving in the rain, has an unexpected encounter with a young juggler, a journey that could change their lives forever.
The short film has already garnered recognition at over twenty high-profile film festivals, including the Rome Film Festival - Alice nella Città, the European Short Film Festival in Brest, and the Valencia International Film Festival - Cinema Jove.
